Acting II

About the Class

This is a semester-long, audition-only class focused on guiding students to an understanding of the craft of acting through their participation in a wide variety of theatrical exercises. The class meets during the school day and counts for a full arts credit.

Students will participate in activities designed to stimulate the imagination and encourage exploration of vocal and physical freedom. These skills will be further developed through improvisation exercises and text work. Students will be performing in and out of class.

This course will require significant practice outside of the classroom, and it demands focus and professional behavior inside the classroom at all times.
