WCHS Theatre

This is a full year, audition-only class that builds upon the techniques and exercises of Acting II. The class meets during the school day and counts for a full arts credit.

 

Students will focus on the physical, vocal and mental preparation required for creating a role and preparing a performance, utilizing techniques and methodologies of Laban, Michael Chekhov, Anne Bogart, and Stanislavsky.

 

This class culminates in two public performances at the end of each semester. This course will require significant practice outside of the classroom, and it demands focus and professional behavior inside the classroom at all times.
